Use of the site and products

You may use Janus Insights websites and products for lawful business purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with service operation, probe for vulnerabilities without authorization, scrape or reverse engineer proprietary assessment content, or use the services to violate another party's rights.

Assessment content and advisory information

Trial assessments, scores, benchmarks, recommendations and other website content are designed to support business discussion and decision-making. They are not a substitute for a tailored professional engagement and should not be treated as legal, tax, accounting, investment, cybersecurity certification or other regulated professional advice. Decisions remain the responsibility of the user and its organization.

Accounts and client workspaces

Authenticated workspaces are intended for authorized users only. Users are responsible for safeguarding credentials and for promptly notifying Janus Insights of suspected unauthorized access. Access may be suspended where reasonably necessary to protect the service, client information or other users.

Client information

Information submitted through a client workspace may include assessment responses, evidence, comments and action plans. Janus Insights will handle that information as described in the Privacy Notice and any applicable client agreement. Users should only upload information they are authorized to provide.

Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

Where a paid product is offered, the applicable price, billing period and plan scope will be presented before purchase or documented in an order form. Unless an order form states otherwise, a recurring subscription may be cancelled before the next renewal; cancellation stops future renewals and access continues through the paid period. Amounts already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed otherwise.

Intellectual property

Janus Insights retains ownership of its website design, assessment methodologies, scoring models, templates, product logic, reports and other proprietary materials, subject to any license or ownership terms in a separate client agreement. Client-provided materials remain subject to the client's rights.

Third-party services

The services may rely on third-party hosting, authentication, storage, payment and communications providers. Their availability and separate terms may affect portions of the service. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.

Availability and disclaimers

Janus Insights seeks to provide reliable services but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, websites and self-service products are provided on an “as available” basis without warranties beyond those expressly stated in a separate written agreement.

Limitation and separate agreements

Any liability limits, confidentiality obligations, service levels, warranties or negotiated commercial terms in a signed client agreement or order form supersede these website terms for that engagement. Nothing in these terms limits rights or obligations that cannot legally be limited.

AI assistant

Janus is an AI-generated website assistant intended to help visitors navigate public Janus Insights information. Its responses may be incomplete or inaccurate and do not constitute professional advice, an assessment result, a certification, or a commitment by Janus Insights. Users should not submit confidential or sensitive information through the public chatbot and should confirm material decisions with an appropriate Janus Insights advisor.

Changes

Janus Insights may update these terms as the website and products evolve. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date on this page.
